About the author

Walter Idlewild developed the intellectual framework for The Aesthetikon at California State University, Dominguez Hills. In his award-winning thesis, "Form, Restriction and Power," the author painted the first rough strokes of his portrait of the creative process through the analysis of the words of artists as they engaged with their materials of construction. This effort, which led to a Master of Arts in the Humanities in 2003, continues today with the current expansion of the author's work into book form and the establishment of the present web site, www.adiatha.com. Mr. Idlewild completed his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame. A long time resident of New York City, the author also publishes widely in the fields of business, economics and law as Phillip M. Perry.
